우선 말씀드릴 것이, 저는 과거 진성 10덕후였다능.. 꼭 기억해주셔야 한다능.. 시작하겠다능.. 제타건담 마지막 에피소드입니다. 간지나는 수박바어택도 대단했지만, 주인공 강미유는 정신줄 요단강 건너고 우주세기 건담 진주인공중 한명인 샤아의 백식이 팔다리 잘린채로 둥둥 떠다니면서 끝나는, 꿈도 희망도 없는 엔딩은 중2병 말기의 예비 오덕후에게 많은 영향을 주었습니다. 몰살의 토미노옹도 정신줄 놓은 강미유 엔딩은 좀 그렇다고 생각했는지 최근 극장판에서는 제정신 엔딩으로 마무리하더군요. 문제는 그러면 더블제타 스토리가 성립이 안되는데... 그건 토미노옹이 알아서 하겠죠. 유튜브에서 1화부터 보실 수 있을 겁니다. 근데 제타건담이 총 50에피소드입니다. 근성가이만이 정주행 할 수 있습니다. 이 노래 전주 듣고 소름 안돋으면 10덕후 아니라능.. 중딩시절을 지배했던 노래였죠. 제타건담이 중딩 예비 10덕후에게 꿈도 희망도 없는 냉정한 현실을 보여주었다면 마크로스 극장판은 그래도 희망은 있다는걸 보여주었다 하겠습니다. 하지만, 당시 어린 마음에도 피터지는 전쟁판에 노래 틀어놓고 싸우는건 전쟁을 너무 띄엄띄엄 보는거 아닌가 싶은 생각도 들었고, 웬지 가미가제 느낌도 났고 그랬지만, 민메이 쨔응이 있으니 댜이죠부데스. 사실 제타건담의 꿈도 희망도 없는 엔딩은 아키라에 비하면 새발의 피가 아니었나 싶습니다. 화면빨, 구도빨만으로도 동시대 애니메이션들을 압도했었고, 도시 한두개 뻥뻥 날아가는데 와... 처음부터 끝까지 입벌리고 보기만 했습니다. 자막같은게 있을리 없었지만, 예비 아니 이미 진성 10덕후가 된 저에게는 상관없었다능.. 흔히 일본버블시대를 보여주는 자료로 활용되곤 하는 왕립우주군 오네아미스의 날개입니다. 근데 딱히 틀린 말이 아니라서... 화면 때깔부터 뭐... 대단하죠. 이게 1987년작입니다. 반다이가 영상산업에 진출하기 위해 가이낙스를 설립하고 야심차게 기획했죠. 원래 가이낙스는 이거 만들고 해산할 예정이었지만, 적자누적이 심해서 적자 해소를 위해 애니메이션 하청 위주로 경영하다 프린세스 메이커가 대박을 터뜨려서 적자를 해소하고 이후 NHK를 낚아서 신비한 바다의 나디아를 제작하고 그 돈으로 신세기 에반게리온을... 이것도 중딩 10덕후에게 꿈과 희망을 주는 애니메이션이었습니다. 솔직히 재미는 없었지만, 화면 때깔 보는 맛이 있었고 마지막에 크고 웅장한 우주선이 모든 시련을 딛고 대기권을 돌파하는 장면은 남자아이에게는 더없는 로망의 실현이 아니었나 싶습니다. 개인적으로 90년대 애니메이션 하면 에반게리온, 소녀혁명 우테나, 카우보이비밥 이렇게 하고 싶습니다. 그 중에서도 서브컬쳐계에서 우테나의 충격은 대단했습니다. 이대에서 페미니즘 강의 자료로까지 쓰였었죠. 39화가 마지막이지만, 개인적으로 38화의 마지막 장면이 가장 인상적이었습니다. 카우보이비밥을 보면서 이유는 모르겠지만, 더이상 애니메이션을 이전처럼 볼 수 없겠다는 생각을 막연하게 했었습니다. 에반게리온의 엔딩 역시 그런 느낌이 들었지만, 비밥에서는 확실하게 구체화되었습니다. 그리고, 저는 10덕후질을 그만하게 되었습니다.
