https://www.hani.co.kr/arti/society/society_general/1143523.html#cb 2021년 8월부터 본격적으로 수사를 진행한 수사팀 입장에서 김 여사는 당시 후순위 수사 대상이었다. 수사 단계상 주범인 권오수 전 회장 수사가 우선이었기 때문이다. 검찰이 권 전 회장을 구속한 것은 2021년 11월이었다. 또 2차 작전 시기 주가조작의 ‘컨트롤타워’로 지목됐던 블랙펄인베스트의 이아무개 대표와 이 기간 주가조작 선수로 활약했던 김아무개씨는 같은 해 10월 구속됐다. 블랙펄인베스트의 민아무개 이사의 경우에는 미국으로 도주한 상태라 2022년 12월에야 구속이 이뤄지기도 했다. 시세조종을 주도한 인물의 구속이 이뤄진 2021년 10~11월 무렵은 윤 대통령이 20대 대선 국민의힘 후보로 공식적인 선거운동을 했을 때다. 윤 대통령은 같은 해 8월 대선 후보 등록을 한 뒤 11월5일 국민의힘 대선 후보로 공식 선출됐다. 권 전 회장의 구속 전 이미 윤 대통령이 유력 정당의 대선 후보가 된 셈이다. 당시 사정을 잘 아는 검찰 관계자는 “권 전 회장이 구속될 무렵에는 이미 수사를 계속해서 결론을 내기 부담스러운 시점이 되어버렸다. 대통령 후보 선출 시기가 수사를 할 수 있는 사실상 마지막 시한이었는데 수사가 그 시기를 넘겨버린 셈”이라고 말했다. 이후 김 여사의 진술서가 제출됐고, 수사팀은 의혹이 충분히 소명되지 않아 김 여사 출석조사가 필요하다고 봤지만, 윤 대통령이 2022년 3월 대통령으로 선출되며 수사를 계속하는 것은 더욱 어려워졌다. ----------- 고발은 2020년 4월에 했는데 본격적인 수사는 다음해인 2021년 8월에 시작함. 검찰이 사실상 태업을 했다고 봐야 할 것 같네요.
