이 곡의 멜로디는 알 스튜어트의 것이 아니고 윌리암 버드(William Byrd)가 17세기 초에 작곡한 살리스베리의 백작(Earle of Salisbury)를 바탕으로 해서 만든 곡입니다. 그리고 이 곡을 번안해서 전인권씨가 녹음한 '사랑한 후에'는 알 스튜어트의 느낌과는 완전히 다른 느낌을 전해줍니다.
